THE QUICK GUIDE

How to play

Move one tile at a time while security robots advance one patrol step after every valid action. A wall or board boundary consumes no turn. Wait stays in place and advances the patrols. There is no real-time timer.
Solid red tiles show current scan lanes; striped red tiles with warning marks show next-turn danger, and ghost diamonds show the guards’ next positions. Arrows show facing. Walls block sight. Plan against the next-turn preview, including possible tile swaps.
Collect the gold key, then reach the cyan exit unseen. Guards advance before detection is checked: landing on a guard, exchanging tiles with one, or entering its updated forward vision means Caught. Detection always takes priority over escape.
Clear twelve handcrafted vaults to unlock the campaign. Earn three stars at the verified shortest number of turns, two within four extra turns, or one for any longer successful escape. Replay unlocked levels to improve independent best moves and stars.

Use the on-screen arrows or keyboard arrows/WASD to move one tile. Tap Wait or press Space on the board to advance guards without moving. Tab and Enter/Space operate native buttons. Held keys do not repeat. P pauses/resumes; M toggles sound. Escape pauses outside fullscreen, where the shared Escape action exits expanded view.

Completed levels, best successful moves, stars and sound preference save locally when browser storage is available. Active attempts reset on refresh; hidden tabs and fullscreen changes pause the current board. Resume explicitly. Gameplay needs no network after loading; no service worker is provided for fresh offline navigation.
